Returning a Loved One to the Country That Was Home.
Sometimes a loved one’s final wish is to be buried or cremated in the country they came from. It is a wish we fulfil regularly, to many destinations.
We have experience of the documentation requirements and the specific processes involved in repatriation to many different countries.
Whatever the destination, we will manage the process from preparing your loved one in accordance with the relevant tradition, to securing export permits, embalming and sealed coffin certificates, and customs documentation, to booking and co-ordinating the flight.
When the Family Is Here and Your Loved One Is Abroad.
When a death occurs overseas and the family wishes to bring their loved one home, we manage every element of the process on your behalf.
We will contact and liaise with the appropriate authorities to obtain all necessary documentation and co-ordinate the flight home. We will receive your loved one from the UK airport and bring them directly to our care, ready for the funeral in accordance with your faith and your family’s wishes.
Legal Documentation & Translation
Our team handles all necessary paperwork — including death certificates, embalming certificates, customs clearance and transport permits.
Certified translations can be arranged where required.
Reception & Arrangements on Arrival
If your loved one is being returned to the UK, we will meet them upon arrival and continue arrangements locally — including onward transport and funeral planning.
