An opportunity to express your wishes

Every life is unique, and every family we serve across Goodmayes, Ilford, Dagenham, Manor Park and surrounding areas has their own distinct traditions, faiths and personal preferences. When it comes to a funeral, these personal details truly matter. These are not small details, they make the difference, and lead to a farewell that genuinely reflects who you were.

Writing down your wishes calmly in advance ensures your family avoids difficult guesswork during a time of grief. When the moment comes, your loved ones will know exactly what you wanted, and our team will know exactly how to support them.

The booklet is entirely free and involves no financial commitment of any kind. You can pick one up in person from our offices, download it, or ask us to post one to you. Once completed, you can keep it at home, share it with a family member, or leave it with us, where it will be held safely until the time comes. You can update it at any time.

Recording wishes that reflect you..

Our booklet provides a dedicated space to record your complete funeral preferences. You can outline your choice between burial and cremation, select specific venues, and detail personal touches like music and readings. For cremations, you can also specify your wishes for your ashes—whether you wish you have an ash immersion ceremony, or if you would like them to remain in the UK or be taken overseas

  • Cultural traditions: Faith-specific wishes including Christian, Islamic, Hindu, Sikh, Caribbean, African, or any other tradition.
